Baby Update

I went to the doctor today (Friday) and my next doctor's appointment is on Monday. If I haven't had the baby by Monday they are going to induce me sometime next week so the baby should be here by sometime next week. We will put a picture on as soon as we can so you can all see her.

Birthday Cupcakes

Dave and I made cupcakes for Ellie's birthday. They came out delicious. We put Reese's pieces on top and Ellie loved the candies. She ate all the candies of the top and only a bite of the actual cupcake. We sang her Happy Birthday. Then she blew out the candles by herself.
Ellie eating the candies off the top.
Yum chocolate face.
Happy 2nd Birthday Ellie!

Opening Presents

We ordered pizza for Ellie's birthday dinner. Grandma, Grandpa, Maria, Adam, and Loni were there. After dinner Ellie opened her presents. She did a good job of unwrapping her presents. She would tear a piece of paper and then hand it to me. She got some new fun toys and clothes.

Elmo Birthday Balloon

The night before Ellie's birthday Dave ran out and bought her an Elmo balloon while I was doing her bedtime routine. The next morning I set my alarm early and snuck in and put her balloon outside her crib. The next morning she didn't see the balloon right away. At first she was just laying in her crib talking to Gagoo (her bear) then she stood up and saw Elmo. She got really excited, smiled, jumped up and down and grabbed his string.
That day Elmo did everything with Ellie.
She brushed his teeth...
Gave him a bath when she took her bath (notice the bubbles all over Elmo because he needed to be washed too). She loves her, "Elmo Song Balloon".

2 Years!

Brand new baby girl Ellie
One year old Ellie
Two year old Ellie
Quick story- Lately Ellie has been calling her Daddy, "Dave". She'll say, "Look Dave. Watch me Dave." She walked up to her Daddy, looked up at him and said, "Hi Dave". Today I ran upstairs and I could here Ellie downstairs yelling, "Cari". When I came back downstairs she followed me around calling me Cari. Silly Ellie. It makes us laugh.

Ellie's New Bike

Ellie turns 2 tomorrow. This is her new bike she got for her birthday- we let her see it today.
Ellie and Daddy
Ellie and Mommy and the wild turkeys in the background. Our neighborhood (Roseville, CA) is home to a bunch of wild turkeys. They just roam around and nobody bothers them.
A closer shot of one of the turkeys. They run away when you get too close so it is hard to get a close up picture of them.
